Mother Teresas maiden name was Anges Gnoxha Bojaxhiu. She was born on the 27th August 1910 in the Albanian Skopje and baptized catholic, She felt ever more strongly the disire to engage herself in the mission. When she was 18 years old, she decided to flee from her wealthy life as a daughter and step into the irish Loreto order, In May 1931 she accepted the order name Teresa in honour of Italy Teresa of Avila.
She studied in Dublin and Darjeeling. 1950 she founded the order of Missionaries of Charity. In 1962 she founded the leprosy colony Shanti Nagar in India. There she decided to care only about the dying, the orphans, the sick and particulary leprosy-ill people. 1979 she got the Nobel Prize for Peace and in March 1997 she withdrew from the line of the order because of an illness, and died on 5th September 1997 in Calcutta. Mother Teresa was 86 years old.
Mother Teresa prayed to Jesus. She lived only for Jesus. She had a very very big heart. She helped the poor children, the hungry people, she helped all the world. She gave up her private and privileged life for only all poor people.
My opinion about Mother Teresa.
Mother Teresa was the dearest woman in the world. I like her, because she helped the poor and the suffering. She helped the drug addict people and the hungry children. For me she was a hero. Why did she have to die?? The criminals live and the loving and caring must die. I find that very unfair. For me Mother Teresa always lives on, in all our hearts. We all miss her and someone like her will never exist again in such a way. I would like to be as dear as she was. She embodies God and Love.
For the poorest I wish a second Mother Teresa. She remains in our memory, because she was the most exceptional person I ever knew and will ever know. Mother Teresa, we miss you.
Words by Mother Teresa:
God didnt create poverty, he created only us.
The war is the result of politics and I dont get involved in this at all.
