In 1961 Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1st in Sandringham (Norfolk-England).
Her mother's name was Lady Frances Spencer, and the name of her father was
John Edward Spencer. Her siblings are called Sarah, Jane and Charles.
1966-1974: Diana visited the Riddles Worth Hall Reparatory School in Diss,
Norfolk.
In 1969 was the divorce of Diana's parents.
Diana visited from 1974 until 1977 the West Heath School near Sevenoaks,
Kent. In the same year, Diana met Prince Charles on a hunt. He was a friend
of Diana's sister. They understood each other very well.
She finished her education in Rougemont, Switzerland.
1979 Diana went backto London. She lived with 3 girlfriends in an apartment in South Kensington. She worked for 3 years as a kindergarden teacher. In 1980 the Spencers visited the Windsors. The romance between Diana and Charles had begun.
In 1981, on the February 24, was the engagement between Lady Di and Prince
Charles. Diana was only 19 years old and Charles was 32. They married in
1981, on the 29th of July. Many people watched the dream wedding of Lady
Diana and Prince Charles! At 33 years, Diana gave birth to her first son:
Prince Williams Arthur Philip Louis. And 2 years later Prince Henry (Harry)
Charles Albert David was born.
Then a year later, she attempted suicide, because her marriage with Charles was no longer good.
And too many journalists were interested in her. It was too much for her. But very many people liked Diana. In 1987 Diana became honour citizen of London and in the year 1990 she had the best clothing style of the year. 2 years later came the seperation of Diana and Charles. It was the end of their marriage. In the same year Diana's father died. It was very hard for her.
In 1994 Prince Charles gave the journalits a confession, that he had been unfaithful to Diana. Newspapers wrote many things about them. The divorce came in 1996 on the 15th July. Both were unlucky and unhappy togheter.
Then Diana flew with her children to St. Tropez. It was the first holiday with Dodi Al Fayed. And the terrible August 16 in 1997 at 00.29 o'clock: The accident in a tunnel in Paris. Not far from the Eiffeltower. Dodi and the chauffeur were immediately dead. Diana was not dead yet.
04:15 : The hospital announced that Diana, Princess of Wales had died at 04:00 o'clock
in the morning.
September 6th: In the Westminster Abbey took place a very big funeral. Many
prominent people were there, and the popstar Elton John sang the song: "Candle in the Wind". He wrote this song for Diana. 2.5 bil. people watched this event on television:
Princess Diana was burried on a small island on her family grounds.
I chose Lady Diana because she was for me a very beautiful woman.
