Kurt Cobain 1967-1994

Kurt Donald Cobain was born in February 1967. He was a happy child living with mother and father in Aberdeen, Washington. But Kurt was not happy very long . In 1975 his parents got divorced. After he lived in a trailor with his mother. in result of this Cobain became very anti-social, he had few friends and was always lone.

On his 14th birthday Kurt recieved his first guitar. And he loved this present. He started to write songs. He went to the school-band and found new friends.
One year later he met Chris Novoselic and Dave Grohl and they formed the Band "Nirvana."

Two months befor Kurt finished his school he dropped out. This made his mother very angry, so she kicked him out of the hous. He lived with friends and sometimes he slept under the briges of Aberdeen.
Years later "Nirvana`s" first album was very sucessfull.

The Band went on short in the USA and in Europa.
Around the same time Kurt married Courtney Love and six months after their wedding they had a baby, a girl. They named her Frances Bean Cobain. In Interviews Kurt said That his daughter was the the "best drug" he ever had.
But Kurt was not realy happy he had many drug problems and month later someone found him in his hous in Seattle: dead and the gun in his hand . Later the police found a suicide-letter to his fans, wife and baby. To his daughter he wrote: "For Frances, for her live witch will be so much happier without me!" "It`s better to burn out than fade away."

Kurt Cobain will be remembered as the architect of Grunge. To some Kurt was a depressed heroin addict, to other just a singer, but for some legend. I`m one of the last group and i think there is a little Kurt in all of us. Kurt Cobain had a very hard life and he took the easy way out!
